At GBP Developments, I search for opportunities, whether they are oversized gardens, run-down properties, garages or unused land, with or without planning permission.
By liaising with our vast database of investors and developers, we can quickly work out any development potential and negotiate a mutually beneficial sale.
My role gives me time to build ongoing relationships and trust. I have a select number of developers and investors I am in regular contact with and who tell me exactly the type of projects and sites they are looking for.
These clients are prepared to pay the right money for a site, if it meets their requirements. It makes my job so much easier and more rewarding and means that if a vendor comes to me with a specific property/site, I know instantly the right people to go to in order to facilitate an offer for the vendor.
Because of my relationships with developers and investors, once they have bought a site and built it out, they then come back to me and I, in turn, can provide opportunities for the sales departments. Or, if they wish to let the properties, the opportunity goes to our lettings department, thus keeping the relationship going with my clients – from the sale of the site to the sale or letting of the properties. It’s an extremely satisfying part of the job.
