Big Day for Renters: The Renters’ Rights Bill Becomes Law!

Today marks a huge milestone for renters across the country the "Renters Rights Bill" will receive "Royal Assent". That means it’s no longer just a proposal or a debate in Parliament it will be an Act of Parliament and on the statute books.

So what happens next?

We now wait for Parliament to confirm the official date that the Renters’ Rights Act (RRA) will come into force. Once that date is announced, the new protections and rules will immediately become law with no transition period.

That means landlords, agents, and renters all need to be ready now. Get your Ducks in A Row.

Some people thought this moment might never come but it has. The Renters’ Rights Act is real, it will be law, and will be happening.

Stay tuned - As soon as Parliament announces the implementation date, we’ll share it here. But one thing is for certain, change for renters is no longer just talk.

It’s happening.
